A game of discovery — but for real life

Remember the first time you chased a Pikachu down your local high street? We do — and it sparked an idea: what if you could recapture that same joy of discovery, but instead of catching creatures, you’re uncovering local businesses, offers, and places worth sharing?

At QR2U, we’re building something new: a city-wide experience where QR codes placed in the real world lead to exclusive rewards, hidden gems, and a smarter way to support local businesses.

Scan. Discover. Save. Repeat.

The idea is simple: walk through your town, scan QR2U codes placed in shop windows, on benches, bus stops, even coffee cups. Each scan unlocks something — maybe a deal, maybe a new business profile, maybe a stamp toward a reward.

We’re making it feel like a game — but the prize is real: better local experiences, more foot traffic for small businesses, and an easy way to share places you genuinely rate.

Why it matters

Big platforms aren’t built for small towns. Our goal is to give people a reason to look around — not scroll. By turning discovery into something active and rewarding, we’re helping local businesses stand out without needing to shout.

This isn’t about ads. It’s about presence. A QR2U code in the wild is a quiet invitation to explore — and a sign that there’s something worth seeing right here.

We’re already testing it

We’ve started placing QR2U codes in select towns to test how people interact with them. Some lead to business profiles, others to hidden offers or pages that track your progress. Think of it as the start of a local-level scavenger hunt — one you don’t need an app for.

If it sounds fun, that’s because it is. But it’s also functional. You find great businesses. Businesses get discovered. Everyone wins.

Want to help us test it?

We’re looking for small towns, indie businesses, and curious testers. If you’d like to be part of the experiment — or just want to place a QR2U code in your window — get in touch.

Because local should feel exciting. And with the right mix of tech and charm, it can be.
